Furioso Winery: Where Tradition Meets Innovation
No trip to Dundee Hills is complete without a stop at Furioso. Unquestionably, it’s the perfect place to begin our journey. This charming estate, located on NE Worden Hill Road, blends tradition with innovation. The stunning rows of meticulously maintained vines greet you as you pull up to their beautiful tasting room. Their view is truly one of the best in the area.
The tasting room has a modern yet warm and inviting vibe. The couches are comfortable and spaced throughout the room and mixed in with intimate tables and chairs. The entire west wall is floor to ceiling windows, offering panoramic views of their vineyards and the surrounding hills. Truly breathtaking scenery!
During the warm summer months, their spacious patio is a wonderful space to sit and enjoy your favorite wines. Moreover, dogs on leashes are welcome to join you on the patio too! While you sample their wide array of wines, consider pairing your favorite with one of their charcuterie boards. Alternatively, when available, you can add a wood-fired pizza for a more robust meal. You really can’t go wrong with either option!
Furioso Vineyards earns recognition for its exquisite Pinot Noir. The wineries’ volcanic soil and elevation contribute to the distinct characteristics of the wines they produce. Your server will guide you through a flight, sharing insights into the winemaking process. If a wine flight isn’t your thing, they are happy to pour a bottle for you and your friends to enjoy. The 2019 Gina Pinot Noir is a must try!
If you share my passion for all things bubbly, then you won’t be disappointed by Furioso Vineyard. Especially since they are also known for their remarkable sparkling wines. In particular, don’t miss out on their 2019 Blanc de Blanc Sparkling – it’s a must have addition to your collection. If you are a wine club member or visiting with a member, make sure to sample the 2019 Blanc de Noir Sparkling. You can’t go wrong with either selection.
A few years ago, I was fortunate to get my hands on their 2017 Spirito Brut Rose. I have one precious bottle left…a true unicorn! Because of this, it will be a very special occasion when I open that gem! If you are lucky enough to find a bottle don’t hesitate to buy one…and then let me know!

Argyle Winery: Where Tradition Meets Elegance
Next stop on our journey is the illustrious Argyle Winery. Located on Highway 99 this is a must stop for any sparkling aficionado. They are one of the premier wineries in Dundee Hills, known as pioneers in producing outstanding sparkling wines in Oregon.
As you make your way to their spacious tasting room take in the beauty of their lush gardens. Such a beautiful space to explore as you spend time at the property.
They offer tastings on their spacious patio as well as in their charming and rustic tasting room. As you check in, you they greet you with a small pour of one of their lovely sparkling’s. Quite the classy touch!
Argyle has truly elevated the art of crafting bubbles! A sparkling flight is a “must-do” at Argyle. Accordingly, this is the perfect way to sample a variety of their exquisite sparkling offerings. Throughout the year the flight menu changes but typically includes their signature Brut, a Blanc de Blanc and my favorite, the Extended Tirage.
If you are a lover of Brut Rose their 2011 Extended Tirage Brut Rose needs to go home with you. It too is a very special sparkling and should be in your collection!

Tina’s Restaurant: Farm to Table Fine Dining
Finally, the perfect ending to a day in Dundee Hills is dinner at Tina’s, one of the original fine dining restaurants in Dundee Hills. They are located across Highway 99 from Argyle. Rustic elegance is the word that comes to mind when explaining Tina’s. The menu truly reflects the bounty of the local farms and orchards.
Their menus change with the seasons, a testament to their devotion of using locally sourced produce. If they’re on the menu don’t miss the truffled mushroom sauté…out of this world!!
If you are looking for world class service you, then you are in the right spot, especially since everyone we interacted with was so friendly and helpful. They have a large selection of local wines to pair with your entrée across many different price points. Reservations are recommended.
